how should we establish islamic state?

Assalamualaikum,

I received some comments which either agreed or criticized my views. I accept that as a chance for more discussion on how should we work towards an Islamic state. Thank you for all the comments first of all. Let me clarify this one more time. I don't want to dispute the holy mission of PAS on establishing Islamic state but I have different point of views about how it should be done.

Actually, what I want is more that an Islamic state. I want an Islamic civilization indeed, for instance like the Ottoman empire. The world admired Islam and Islam become the leader not only in the state but in the world. People can't say a single bad thing about Islam because practice of Islam was brilliant.

I believe that to create an Islamic state, we must inform from the very basic elements of the country which is the citizen itself. We should educate and encourage the society to practice Islam. This includes every individual, family and locality. Takwa for ALLAH should be instilled.

Then, the next step is to get involved in politics. I believe this will come automatically. I never denied the importance of politics and we must embrace politic to establish an Islamic state. When we gain control of the government, we can implement all the law in Islam without any difficulties since people understand and want Islam in their life. Then we can show good example to the world about what Islam is. Transparency, no corruption, good economy, low crime, civilized people, good life quality and etc.

What is wrong with PAS is they tackle the problem at the wrong point. They focused on politic first. They spent thousands on politic in term of money and sometimes they have to give up their agenda. Look at what happened when they join PAKATAN RAKYAT, I didn't hear a single word uttered by PAS leaders in their campaign about an Islamic state especially in implementing hudud. Why? because this is politics. We have to make a policy that people can accept and vote for us.

If u compare DAP and PAS, which one gained more benefit? Absolutely DAP, because they don't have to surrender their ideology to join the PAKATAN RAKYAT. ANWAR IBRAHIM never said a word about establishing Islamic country and an Islamic state will not be established under his leadership. He got the most benefit for this campaign.

Salam reformasi.

Terima kasih saudara Muhaimin!

Anda telah menyedarkan saya. Nampaknya semua ulama' PAS telah tersilap. Mursyidul Am PAS TG Nik Abdul Aziz nampaknya tidak faham fiqh aulawiyyat, Ustaz Haron Din pula nampaknya tak khatam lagi fiqh muazzanat. Tn Guru Hj Hadi maybe tak pernah bace buku Fiqh Daulah. Majlis Syura PAS pun nmpaknye tak berapa ingat lagi psl siasah syariah. Dewan Ulama' pun nmpaknye tak bace buku Fiqh Dakwah kot. Begitu juga beratus ustaz-ustaz dalam PAS. Mereka telah gagal berdakwah kepada masyarakat lantaran terlalu sibuk berpolitik!

Saudara Muhaimin, anda lah selayaknya menggantikan tempat mereka! Idea anda sangat bernas!

terlalu sibuk berpolitik...
hmm...1st time i heard that...
aye,could be true..
would be heart warming to hear them admit to that...

but then again, its speculation nevertheless right muhaimin?

penat tunggu depa jawab spekulasi2 ni...

well..lets just HOPE they have something up their jubah sleeves...
because we jolly well are counting on them, all these ustadz..

why?because i trust Islam and only those whose ultimate goal is to please Allah-because they dont hope for the world, and money (root of all evil)

and i only see them as decent enough to be up fr that..

honestly.

Salam min,

First aku nk salute hang sbb brani utarakn persoalan n ur own view about our politics in Malaysia. Aku dh muak tgk mahasiswa kita dok asyik citer psl perkara peribadi, cinta n hiburan walaupun itu hak depa dan aku x boleh nk salahkn depa.

Islam itu universal which is aku rasa yang ni hangpa suma tau. Islam itu xdok starting point and end point. Islam itu mcm mind map. Ada byk cabang-cabangnya (ekonomi, keluarga, syariat islamiyah, education, siasah dll). Dia bukan bermula pada diri sendiri dulu then akhirnya negara. Setiap cabang berpadu dan memerlukan satu sama yang lain untuk membentuk hadharah islamiyah (ketamadunan islam). Hok ni ade puak pi putaq belit jadi Islam Had-Hari.

Berbalik kpd PAS. Ramai dok lihat PAS sbgi parti politik krn dok asyik main dalam arus media perdana. Namun sbrnya, PAS for all and covers everythings. Education (sek. pondok or tadika plus dulu ada sekolah rakyat) smpilah politik.

Point hang tu dh btui dah cuma x cukup lagi. Apa point lain? hah yg tu hang kene cr sendiri. Satu soalan aku bg kat hang.

terima kasih

how would u instil islamic values to non muslim as the way of their lives?? r to get u clear.. how to convince them that they'll be completely protected under the islamic laws??

political scenario in mlysia involves multiracial + multireligious comm.. n it's logic to say that the establishment of pakatan rakyat is aimed to promote fairness and EQUAL POWER among the political leaders!! this is the reason y,, the PAS leaders r silent from voicing out the need of implementing islamic laws to PAKATN RAKYAT.. what a shame~

if PROPHET MUHAMMAD SAW manage to do that, why cant we?

why should PAS keep their mouth shut but not DAP?

May I remind you Muhaimin that PAS has never back down from the idea of Islamic State. Siasah syariah has been discussed and implemented in the 5 states. Even Lim Guan Eng has been speeking of Khalidah Umar Abd Aziz and amar ma'aruf nahi mungkar.

Look, when we are talking about Negara Islam, let us talk about the substance rather than the form! Apa ada pada slogan?

Rasulullah saw can establish Islam in Madinah because HE is patient and wise. Remember Perjanjian Hudaibiyah?

Ps: I used to a fan to free speech, but now I think that people should seek more knowledge before they start writing/voicing out their opinion. If not, lots of time will be wasted!
